Since I seem to take loads of pictures and then share with family and friends I will sometimes include a frame to put the pictures in. I frequently give the kid's pictures to grandma's and godparents and other family members at the holidays in our card or even wrapped as a present.
I know that when I receive pictures I often do not have a frame or way to hang them up right away. It is a nice idea to include a frame or Magnetic Freez-A-Frame with pictures already in the frame, so that when your pictures arrive at their destination, they can immediately be displayed!
The Freez-A-Frame Magnetic Combo Pack comes with 4 magnetic photo frames. You get 4 of the 4" x 6" clear plastic frames, and 2 of the 5" x 7" plastic frame. This is a nice selection that fits the most common sizes of photographs that you would be either giving or keeping.
The Freez-A-Frame photo holders are a clear plastic frame where your pictures slide into a slot, protected on all sides. Once in, they have not fallen out even when turned over. I would suggest though that you position the picture so that the open slot would be at the top when hanging for added safety and protection.
The back of the plastic frame is magnetic - not just a strip of magnet stuck on, but the entire back acts as a magnet. The magnetic frame can be mounted on your refrigerator or any metal surface in vertical or horizontal fashion. They work great at home, work and school - anywhere that there is a metal surface to stick to.
Since the entire back is magnetic and you can position in any direction you can hang your photo's in a cool design or just hang one where you'd like it. You can slip more than a picture in the frame - like a schedule in your school locker, a diet exchange list for easy reference, important phone numbers by your desk at work, etc. They work for more than just photographs!
Also, since the frames are fairly flat, they are not easily bumped in to or bumped off of their surface. The plastic is sturdy and even when I've dropped them I have not seen a crack or a chipped edge.
