First opened in 1958, this is an old attraction. It is a car in the shape of an old fire engine. It of course sits guests instead of fire fighters. About 8 people can ride on the ride but be warned, it can be a tight fit.

The driver will sometimes give a little history of the vehicle and/or Main Street while he/she is driving. The information is fairly common knowledge and not very informative. Some drivers won’t talk at all and find questions from guests a nuisance.

You have two places that you can access the ride. They are located at the beginning and end of Main Street USA.

During the ride you go up (or down) Main Street. While trying to alert other park guests of the car’s presence, not by siren but a horn.

These attractions are merely one way so you never end up where you started. Now if you do what the round trip experience then you will need to get into line again.

Guests in wheel chairs will have to be transferred.

Now do I recommend this attraction? In short, no I don’t. First you wait in a line (sometimes) and it sometimes takes a couple of minutes to load (no this is not mass transit by any stretch of the imagination.) And the car ride is fairly slow, you can jog faster than this car. So why ride it? To appease your screaming children that want to ride it. You can walk up main street a lot faster by not taking any of these “Main Street Vehicles.”

The only things you see on your ride is main street itself. And unlike the omnibus, you see the same views as the visitors you are passing by. Absolutely nothing special here.
