Pros: Covers very well, easy to apply and blend
Cons: Not as long lasting as it claims to be, too pricey
The Bottom Line: A great full coverage concealer, that although doesn't last forever, blends and covers very well.

| baby_pie's Full Review: Make Up For Ever Full Cover Flesh 4 |
Concealer. A woman's lifesaver. Sometimes I need a bit of coverage but more often than not I need something with more coverage and staying power. After all, who wants to cover up a blemish only to go to the bathroom at lunchtime and have to re-apply concealer? While browsing Sephora I came across Make Up For Ever. Having recently purchased one of their under eye concealers I decided to give their Full Cover concealer a try.
I paid $30 for a 0.5oz tube of product. Not exactly cheap, but I've found that a little goes a long way and this concealer is likely to last me a year. In that context, the price doesn't seem so bad.
It's available in 10 shades, I picked the second lightest shade which is number 4 - Flesh.
Full Cover Concealer is "clinically tested on sensitive skin and dermatologically controlled for gentleness"
Make Up For Ever describes this concealer as: "An ultra long-lasting, matte finish, oil-free, waterproof, full coverage concealer."
Claims: "Designed to cover major imperfections like scars, hyperpigmentation, major discoloration, burns, and tattoos. This light and creamy concealer contains a high concentration of pigments that stay put, making it perfect for use on the face, as well as the body."
This concealer is soft, creamy and very easy to blend. There is no scent which I really enjoy as some face make up products have a strong smell, particularly those designed to be long lasting.
I started by using the tiniest dot on my fingertip and gently patting it over a blemish. I applied the concealer after my foundation. I also didn't use this under my eyes as I have a separate under-eye concealer. I feel that this concealer may be too heavy for under my eyes and may settle into lines, so I stuck to using it on small spots or imperfections on my face. I found it covered extremely well and like I said, I only needed a very small amount of product. It also didn't take much blending as the product is creamy and very easily disappears into the skin. Getting the ride shade is key here too, Flesh matches my skin and foundation perfectly. I ended by dusting a bit of loose powder over the top.
This concealer didn't break me out or clog my pores and it does indeed have a matte finish, which I really like. It's also very easy to remove with a standard make-up remover.
Although this concealer covers blemishes and spots very well, I don't think it would work as well on tattoos or bad scars, as advertised. I tried a bit on a mild scar I have on my leg and it didn't cover it up, so I doubt it could be used to conceal a tattoo!
Now as for the staying power - does it really last "For Ever?" Not exactly. This concealer doesn't exactly live up to it's super long lasting reputation. Yes, it's fairly long lasting, but I believe I've had Revlon Colorstay concealers last longer for a fraction of the price! I'd say this concealer covers well for approximately 8 hours before a touch up was needed. So I'm a little disappointed at the staying power of this product which should be longer.
I do like this concealer. I love it's coverage and ease of application, I just wish it lasted a couple more hours. Good product though.
