In case your interested, Malgudi Days has become famous enough these days to become a television show. Of course you might have already known this

Thank you for pointing out that missing 'have.' I guess A Tiger for Malgudi is another short story collection by Narayan but I do not have it. Maybe some time later.

is missing a "have." I assume that, in that this is the only collection of Narayan stories I know of, some were written before Indian independence. Being away from home, I can't check the copyright page, but am almost certain that the stories were written from the 1930s through the 1970s, and even 1983 is some time ago!

Looking forward to more reviews of Narayan's large output!
