Um, last name is Goldman half my life, yet I don't go out of my way to be Kosher. Still, your article totally involved me immediately. Like helping the Earth to stay green, if I can afford it, I do often go a tad out of the way (providing I can afford it and the rest of my mostly non-jewish family will use as well)... I tend to make my own syrup. Bad for you anyway you do it. Today, after three weeks of watching our "Organic Batter Blaster" going to waste because we ran out of the gooey sugary stuff, I broke down and bought syrup. I liked the idea of a few (organic, lite, original, etc.), but in the end, since most looked awfully thin or cost more than 30 cents an ounce (we have seven kids, three adults), I opted for the best priced off brand. What the heck? So to read this tonight was cool because I have hope for the syrup that "appears" thin. Thanks for a great review. Teraisa J. Rogers
