Pros: My tiller is 3 years old. It worked well in small spaces.
Cons: The engine broke off from the plate it is (was) bolted to.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend finding a small tiller that has more structural strength.

| melanieshawn's Full Review: Mantis Tiller |
My 3 year old tiller worked well in small spaces. It was a lot of work to do the initial vegetable garden tilling (12x12 feet). The motor gets a lot of dirt due to the engine being so close to the tines. I still enjoyed it, though, and it weeded my gardens quite well. BUT, last week I was using it and the motor mount broke...the metal plate broke off a corner, bolt and all. My next tiller will be tougher.
I contacted Mantis about my tiller breaking and sent pictures to them so that they could see that this break shouldn't happen to a tiller that is 10 years old, much less one that is 3 years old. Perhaps they had some poor metal that batch of tillers.
(By the way,I did keep the tiller in the garage, it was not left outside.)
