I know, I know, not the most creative title…..but anyways……Mario Kart for DS is a great gaming choice for either boy or girl. To me it gives off more of a boyish vibe, but I’ll explain more later on. Now let’s get to the basics.
What do you do?
Yes, very important question. You race as Mario characters, through different courses with their own twists and turns….literally! You can also play battle modes or beat different missions to test your racing abilities!
By Mario characters, what do you mean?
You know the classics. Here is all you can unlock: Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Toad, Waluigi, that gorilla guy, Wario, and dry bones. I know there’s others I forgot, so tell me if I’m missing any.
Does this game have a good use of DS wireless communication?
Yes. You can compete in simple mode against friends WITHOUT the game, but you can also compete in normal against friends with the game.
But anyways, great game. Lots of un-lockables, lots to do. Even when you beat the game like me, you can try to beat times, records, or missions. Always something to do. Also, girl and boy characters can be activated.
I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a racing game with a twist! So pick it up if you want a great game to play for many hours!
