Pros: Rooms are a nice size and clean
Cons: Expensive! No ATM machine.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend a different resort with more amenities for the same price.

| jenni796's Full Review: Marriott CasaMagna Resort Puerto Vallarta |
I recently spent a week at the CasaMagna Resort in Puerto Vallarta to attend a business conference. The resort itself is beautiful. There are gardens with plush tropical plants, fountains, fish ponds, a huge blue pool with a bar in the center, and a clean sandy beach all just through the front entrance. Not to mention the large open-air lounge, sports bar, Japanese steak house, Cafe, and beautiful stone work all within the resort.
The rooms were clean when we arrived. The rooms are a decent size with a sitting area. The bathrooms were large and clean as well. Most rooms have balconies overlooking the resort and beach. Each room has a wet bar (very expensive), a coffee pot (they charge you when you use the packet of coffee), a hair dryer, and a TV with limited cable channels (broadcast from NYC).
The staff was polite but most didn't speak any English which made ordering food and drinks difficult at times. The food inside the resort was very good but much more expensive than restaurants in town (it only costs a few dollars to get to town via Taxi). The couple shops inside the resort were expensive and didn't have much. There is also No ATM machines located in the resort and phone calls are extremely expensive.
If I ever go back to Puerto Vallarta, I would try a different resort.
