Pros: Durable, Maintains its Shape, Machine Washable
Cons: Foam May Shift a Little
My ferrets really enjoy their Marshall Fleece Leisure Lodge or their `pyramid` as it gets called. It looks just like a pyramid with a little door at each corner. The one I have is the same print as the photos from Marshall`s and it has the four walls made out of fleece and the floor made out of sheepskin. The doors at the corners are large enough for even the biggest ferret as well as for checking to see if there are ferrets in there or for retrieving ferrets out. Often the ferrets will be sleeping with their heads out the corners and with four ferrets, there is one corner for each!
I have had the Fleece Leisure Lodge for over a year now and it has held up very well to the demands and abuse of my four fuzzies. It is durable and is very good at maintaining its pyramid shape. Scratching at the floor has resulted in very little damage, I have put it in the washing machine and dryer many times without it losing shape and even with ferrets jumping on top of it.
The foam inserts inside the fleece walls have folded a few times while in the wash and I have had to work to shift them back into the proper position but nothing overly difficult. This would easily be fixed by putting a stitch or two in the foam to maintain its position but with other ferret busyness I have not gotten around to doing this.
