There isn’t a market that Martha Stewart has dived into when it comes to products for your home and now I find myself diving into them as well. The most significant reason is because her products are very affordable for me.
So this morning I got up early and decided that my fiancé should go to the dreadful Super Kmart nearby since it was open 24 hours. I figured at 6:30 in the morning there wouldn’t be a ton of people and I wouldn’t break down in a panic. So off we were. There were countless items that I found appealing in the Martha Stewart Collection from her soil scooper to her cereal bowls to even her placemats.
I found myself looking at napkin ring holders and right next to them were many placements that the Martha Stewart Collection had produced. I noticed that she had a few vinyl ones. Well then my fiancé said, “Why don’t we get one for the cat’s dish?” They were only a $1.49 with 15% off which brought they to $1.26. We had recently purchased a nice self waterer and feeder for my cat but he still manages to get his food all over the place. I don’t understand it. So when my fiancé asked me that, a light bulb clicked in my head and I thought how perfect it would be. So we decided to buy one and bring it home. The one that he happened to pick out is the same one in the picture above.
Well I think everyone knows what vinyl is and how it is slightly thick with a rubbery feel to it. It can bend and roll and also is able to clean VERY easily with a cloth. It was pretty perfect for the cat situation. The placemat itself was pretty. It has a checkered dark pale green and white border around it and has a bouquet of purple and white flowers in the middle. It wasn’t anything too fancy but it was a nice size and matched my décor color-wise.
The Martha Stewart Everyday Collection Vinyl Placemat is nineteen inches in length and fourteen inches in width. It was just long enough to fit these new feeders onto and for a placemat bigger than normal. I liked that for Junior, my cat. If you were to use it properly on the table it would also look very nice and would cover all of your silverware areas should you have a six course meal. The only instructions for care on the back was to wipe surface clean. Yes, it is truly that simple!

The placemats like I said are normally $1.49 but were 15% off right now. I see various sales each time in the Martha Stewart Everyday Collection. Out of the four placemats this one was my favorite, the others seemed too fake and vinyl looking. I know it really doesn’t matter since I was just using it for my cat, but it was just the principle of it all.
So now Junior has a wonderful Vinyl Placemat from the Martha Stewart Everyday Collection to use while he is eating. He won’t know the difference but I will as it is just a wipe down to clean, unlike the bamboo placemat I formerly had for him from Pier One. It just didn’t work for that purpose. So once again I am pleased with my purchase from the Martha Stewart Everyday Collection with my Everyday Vinyl Placemat with Hydrangea.
