My children have had the same experience. They got the drawing board as a gift from a relative. Luckily, the relative got it for much less than the TV advertised price. I think she found it in a bin in Wal*Mart.
THe best thing thsi toy is good for is a lesson about how things on TV in adverts are NOT WHAT THEY SEEM!. In my humble opinion, the earlier that lesson is learned, the better.

I can't believe Marvin followed you to Venice! I got such a laugh out of picturing Marvin, on a plane, strapped in a seatbelt, going off to Venice to be reviewed by caconti!
