Who doesn't love Satin? I know I do, and if you can get your hands to feel like satin why not do it? Last year Mary Kay came out with a NEW and IMPROVED Satin Hands® Pampering Set. It's called Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™
For years, Mary Kay had the Satin Hands® Pampering Set and even though that was a great product, they have finally updated it, and made it even better. It's now even more simple to use with one less step involved. A few years ago for Christmas my sister had given me the older Satin Hands® Set, and I loved it, but I actually had to write with a permanent marker on each tube, marking it with a 1, 2, 3, or 4. So I could use them more quickly in the proper order without having to take the time to read the labels. The tubes all looked alike at that time, and they came in a very cute rounded zipper case. Those days are gone. There is no longer the need to zip and unzip a cute little case, because NOW the NEW & IMPROVED Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ comes in a peach colored plastic bag with a hole large enough that you could even hang it on a door knob if you wanted to. You don't have to zip or unzip to get into it, all you have to do is pull it open, and you have easy access to your Satin Hands® products.
Included in this awesome set is a tube of Mary Kay Extra Emollient Night Cream, containing 2.1 oz., packaged in a nice peach colored tube. It looks just like an average tube of hand lotion, with the exception that it's taller in skinnier. This product is not necessarily meant to be used only at night time. But instead it's used to soften and condition extremely dry skin, and helps to seal in moisture. I have used this product on my face, my elbows, my knees, my feet, and my hands. It has many uses, and works extremely well.
The instructions:
Apply a small amount to clean skin. For added hydration, dampen skin with water prior to applying.
The emollient cream is NOT peach scented, but has the same scent as the original emollient cream. It's fresh clean smell with just a hint of floral fragrance.
The next item in this set is a pump style bottle that contains 7.75 oz. of the Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ Hand Scrub. The bottle is clear with a peach colored pump on the top, and the contents of this bottle are peach colored with tiny granules mixed in. This is an exfoliant, and hand wash at the same time. The older Satin Hands® set had 4 steps, this one has only 3, because the exfoliating scrub is combined with the cleanser where as the older set had a tube of buffing cream along with a tube of cleanser. This is much better!!! To use this product you simply massage into your hands and between your fingers, and then rinse. Don't RUB your hands dry, but instead PAT them dry. This has a wonderful fresh peach scent.
I have used several exfoliating products such as those from Bath and Body works, and while I like those hand soaps, I still find that the Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ Hand Scrub does a far better job. I use both, but prefer Mary Kay's product better.
When you are finished with that step, you then take the 3rd item in this set, which is the Satin Hand® Hand Cream. This is also packaged in a peach colored tube and contains 3 oz. of hand cream. This also has a fresh clean peach scent. Delicious!!!

How does the Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ Private Spa Collection Pampering Set™ really measure up???
After using this product JUST ONCE, you will immediately see and feel the difference in your hands. Your hands will feel very silky and smooth. No roughness at all. This is a great product especially for those of you who have dry skin, and even cracked skin or fingers. Imagine if you can see and feel a big difference after just ONE use, what you would see and feel after using it several times? Not only have I used this product on my hands, but I've used it on my feet as well.
Recently I actually broke my pinky toe by stubbing it on a chair. Yes it was definitely broken, it turned dark purple within minutes, and then got so swollen to the point that I couldn't wear my own shoes. Here I am living in upstate NY, and we are getting several feet of snow, and I'm wearing flip flops to work. Imagine that!!! About 3 weeks after I broke the toe, I started soaking my foot in the hottest water I could stand just so that I could try to massage and maneuver my toe again.
I decided that if I was going to go the extent of soaking my feet, I may as well treat them to something special while I was doing it, especially since I have been wearing flip flops in this cold weather for weeks now. So, if the Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ worked so well on my hands, why wouldn't it work on my feet? After using this product on my feet once a day for a week, I noticed something amazing. The calluses on my heels have disappeared. That wasn't my goal here, but it certainly took care of my rough feet.
My feet have never felt so soft, smooth and healthy in my life. Soft and supple skin, no rough spots, and no calluses. I can tell you that I will never let my feet get to that state again, now that I know that all I have to do is apply the Satin Hands® Satin Smoothie™ Pampering System to my feet and soak them for about 15 minutes while watching TV or something. Who ever thought it would be that easy. I have actually seen men - rough, rugged men, using this product, and they LOVE IT, so it's not JUST for Women!!!
The Rich Peach Scent is to die for! I'm sure this is why they named it "SATIN SMOOTHIE" Because you are getting that Satin feeling with the Smoothie scent all rolled into one product.
The price for this Pampering Set is $30.00 and worth every penny. It lasts for a long time, and like I said before, you will never experience such soft and silky hands or feet. On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this product a definite 10. This is one of the Mary Kay products that I can't live without!!!
Mary Kay has many Private Spa sets, but so far I've found this one to be the best. If you have a Mary Kay consultant, then ask to give it a try.
