blueyedbeauty4's Full Review: Matrix Curl Life Contouring Milk
Lime Green. Bright Lime green. OOh, pretty. Yes, the color of the tube of Curl life's contouring milk actually caught my attention first before actually knowing what product it was. I was also intrigued by Matrix's new line dedicated solely to curly/wavy heads like myself and decided to give this contouring milk a go.
After freshly washed/conditioned hair, I combed my wet hair with a wide tooth comb and when it was abit drier (the product states that it should be used on towel dried hair), I rubbed a nice dollop in my palms and ran it through my hair with my fingers, from about my ears down because it actually is a sort of leave in conditioner that will buildup on the scalp if too much gets on it. After I felt most of my hair was well coated, I allowed my hair to air dry and did not touch it anymore (as to protect it from getting frizzy).
~*~ The Results ~*~
Silkier, shiny hair. Bouncier and more seperated curls. And...much more volume than my normal leave in. My fine wavy hair loved the light texture of this contouring milk and had a nice body to it as if I had blowdried my hair with a diffuser. My wavy hair looked curlier, as all of it was more separated and the natural waves and spirals could come out more. It did not leave my hair crunchy or hard, just supple wavy hair that looked happier being less frizzy than it has been in a while in such high humidity!
~*~ The packaging ~*~
This contouring milk comes in a lime green flip top squeezy bottle and the light and smooth texture of the milk comes out quite easily without much mess.
~*~ The Texture ~*~
As I said before, the texture of this is fine and pretty thin and is great for fine/normal hair. It does not weigh it down at all and has and nice clean fresh scent that doesnt linger too long.
~*~ Price & Availability ~*~
As with all Matrix products, they are sold in professional hair salons and/or/ beauty care stores, such as Trade Secret, Ulta, Beauty Brands, etc. Mine was purchased at an Ulta and for 5.1 fl oz. I paid about 12 bucks.
~*~Matrix Makes some promises and does not lie ~*~

~*~ So....the bottom line is~*~
If you have wavy or curly fine to normal textured hair thats in need of some shine, separation and bounce/volume, I believe it is worthy to try and to make your hair look and feel much better conditioned and styled without using tons of hair products because this one does so much!
