junkot's Full Review: Mattel Barbie Fashion Fever Room Furniture Velvety...
I liked this sofa set at first sight online, and sure wanted it, but was bit expensive($30 or more), so I just put this item in my wish list for a while, but few weeks ago, I learned that "only 1 left", so I decided to buy then. Now it's here in my house, my dolls jumped in the box and sat the sofa that is made with gorgeous velvet fabric and in sexy purple color, and yet design is kind of elegant & feminine, not childish. that's why I liked so much at the first sight. (*I am an adult doll collector(?)- I am not really collecting, I just buy what I like, and generously open all packages and play with them for photoraphy & making them clothes (craft purpose) even the dolls for collectible(such as celebrity-look Barbie). I have enough numbers of dolls to play with, but realized that I did not have any accessories like furniture for them, so I at least needed to own one, and this fashion fever furniture Velvet sofa(couch) was perfect!
It came with lots of accessories, not only the sofa(couch)- a green coffee table, faux fur white rug, a pair of sandals(for Barbie), colorful light stand with 3 color lights (3 color plastics faux lights, not actually can be used as lights, bottom of the light stand is in a flower vase-look object), a tall screen (foldable), faux Barbie size fashion magazines, a tote bag (for Barbie) and a star shaped pillow, All those came in a large clear box (like collectible Barbie dolls) with wall (cardboard) and wood floor(cardboard), it really looks like a living room already. I do not want to separate the furniture from the cardboard wall and floor, so I just put dolls in the box (placed dolls on sofa as if they are sitting on it), so it looks like they are in a room, sitting on sofa, chatting each other. (so instantly (without any effort other than remove some tags from furniture) my dolls have got a room with furniture- looks like that). very nice! I sure want to collect more furniture from this brand. my dolls are Licca, (from Japan, made in Japan) she is smaller than Barbie, so 4 Licca can sit on the sofa, (for Barbie, 2-3 Barbie can sit). The toy like this get me more creative idea in my doll hobby. recommend this for adult doll collectors or players. (expensive? join online survey or reward programs which you can get Amazon gift card via e-mail as reward, I was able to redeem some Amazon GC when I wanted this toy, and paid less than $4 for insufficient with my credit card).
