Mattel Looney Tunes Barbie Loves Daffy Duck is one of three Looney Tunes Back in Action Movie theme sets. Recommended for ages three and up, this set includes a Barbie doll, stuffed Daffy Duck and a few accessories. The set will most likely be appreciated by those who like Barbie and Daffy Duck. For collecting or play, Barbie and Daffy is a fun pair.
The 11.5 inch (approximate) Barbie doll in this set has waist length blonde hair. The head on this doll turns, arms pivot at shoulder points, legs pivot from the hips and the knees bend. Make-up is not overwhelming, as Mattel used pastel hues. This doll is dressed in a cowgirl themed outfit. The short-sleeved shirt is primarily red with Daffy Cowboy graphic print. The v-style neckline has a cord like lacing. The shirt is short enough to expose Barbies midriff. The flare-legged blue jeans have embroidery embellishment from calf to ankle. A Daffy themed belt buckle adds accent to the belt. Accessories (black cowboy/girl hat & red cowgirl boots) add to the theme! Additionally this set includes a red lasso, which fits onto Barbies hands.
Daffy Duck is approximately 5.5 inches tall, and it’s stuffed. This stuffed animal is soft to the touch. Daffy is wearing a black cowboy hat. If needed, this stuffed figure can be surface cleaned.
My oldest daughter received this, and two other, Looney Tunes Barbie sets from her Aunt. Initially she was treating all three sets as collectables; however her super cute little cousin convinced her to open the boxes and play with the figures. Both Barbie and Daffy withstood many play sessions. I enjoyed watching my niece play with this and other sets. As is understandable, the hair on the Barbie doll shows some wear.
All things considered I recommend this set for purchase.
