As an avid scrapbooker, I loved the idea of this product and I purchased it off the shelf without a second thought. What a fantastic idea! A program that will offer you photo cropping, embellishments, and even website publishing of your personalized scrapbook pages.
While the software is great for use in some settings (like if you have a lot of time to learn it and wait for it to do its thing), I was disappointed. I really feel like the program was slow, and it wasn't very intuitive. I didn't like the organization of the photos. It took too long to load, and I couldn't really see the point in it all.
I am really a Mac-User at heart, so it might just be a difference in the operating systems. But I worked a long time at trying to figure out how the software worked, and I was still not able to discover a way to do my pages that were cute and fast. I have two many kids at home and too much in my life to try to work on figuring this out.
If the creators would come out with a version that worked faster and was more intuitive, I would try it again. The version I tried was several years old, though, for Windows 95. Maybe the new version for Windows 98 is better. I'd love to find out!
