I was at CVS one day looking for something to cheer my son up seeing he wasn't feeling well, I spotted Rugrats UNO and figured it would be the perfect thing to cheer him up. He was a big Rugrats fan at the age of three and I like finding new games for him to play that he can actually understand. We have had the game for about one year now.
The ages suitable for play is listed as 3 and up on the box. My son was three at the time, however, it was tricky at first to help him comprehend exactly what to do. He would sometimes get bored trying to figure it out but after a couple weeks, he had it figured out. I would play Rugrats UNO with him and a couple of other children ages five and seven. They enjoyed playing it as much as him. Whenever they would come over they always wanted to play a few games of Rugrats UNO.
With this version of UNO, you deal 5 cards to each player. The cards are a bit bigger than regular UNO cards probably for children to have an easier time holding them. With the larger size cards it is sometimes still a bit difficult for tiny hands to hold them all, especially when they have to draw more cards in addition to the ones they have. The special cards of this deck are the Reptar Draw 2 card and a Wild card featuring all of the Rugrats.
Overall, I would definitely recommend buying this for any child that likes to learn new games and enjoys watching the Rugrats. With Rugrats UNO, children can learn and recognize numbers and colors. A cute, great game to play--UNO!!!
