| jesjaime's Full Review: Mattel My First Uno Card Game Featuring The Nickel... |
It's hard to believe that such an inexpensive game like this would have such an effect. I purchased this game as a stocking stuffer this past Christmas. It has turned out that my family has enjoyed hours of fun. I have a first grader and a three year old. This is one game where everyone can really play. We don't have to pretend that my 3 year old is playing, she really does. Not only does it keep both kids occupied, but it is teaching my 3 year old her colors, numbers and how to take turns when playing. It really is amazing to see how things come together when we play. We bring this deck of cards with us whenever we have to go somewhere where there is a wait.
The concept is really simple- just follow color or number til all your cards are gone. The first person to discard all their cards win. But when you are down to one card, you must remember to say uno. It really is both a great game and a great learning tool for the littler kids.
