Don't be Fooled by the Vibrant Shade in the Jar!

I don't normally purchase blush, basically because I can't exactly find a good blush (that matches my natural blushing shade) and I'm already, every so slightly, pinkish in the cheeks naturally. But when I saw these cute, affordable blushes that have a very lovely texture - and with all the rave reviews on sites and magazines - I knew I had to purchase it!
The product:
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush is packaged in a small glass jar with a plastic screw on lid. The lid is the shade of blush you choose to get. There aren't that many shades of blush to choose from, only 6 as far as I know. They are actually numbered (10 being the lightest shade) and next to the number, says the shade the blush is.
Here are the shades:
(10)Pink Frosting
(20)Peach Satin
(30)Whipped Strawberries
(40)Soft Plum
(50)Cloud Wine
(60)Coffee Cake
If you go to a store to get these blushes, there will probably be testers there to see which shade will suit you best. Fortunately, the shop I got it from had testers, and I ended up purchasing the soft plum - which is a very beautiful shade. It's more of a pink color, with a hint of plum. Maybelline Mousse Blushes do have shimmer in them, but when you put it on, it looks more 'glow-y' than shimmery. It's not overwhelmingly glittery, there are just subtle traces of shimmer.
Maybelline states that it:

*Long-wearing formula will not clog pores

You can purchase these blushes at most shops and online stores, too. Wherever a shop sells Maybelline products, they'll probably have this blush there, too. This blush is around around $7 and have .20oz of product in the jar.
This seems quite expensive for such a small amount of blush for such a big price, but when you use it, you realize that you don't need a lot; a little goes a very long way!
My experience:
In the jar, these colors look so bright and vibrant, you'd probably think that when you put it on, you'll look like some clown or doll of some sort! But when you put it on your face, it looks very natural and the shade soft plum matched the color I normally flush (and the slight soft rosy color I have in my cheeks naturally). And just to let you know, I have medium-Asian skin.
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush has the perfect texture; a smooth, slightly creamy, fluffy texture that is such a pleasure to use. It glides on smoothly and fortunately, it doesn't dry so fast that you don't have enough time to blend it; no way! It blends smoothly and easily without any fuss. And since you only need a tiny dab (you barely have to touch the top of the mousse) to get enough product to evenly spread across your face that gives you a natural, flushed look. (I'm not even fair-skinned, and just a tiny touch of the top of the blush gives me the perfect - if not too much - amount). But if it is too light for you, it's easy to build more color onto your cheeks without ant hassles.
The first time I wore this product, my dad complimented on how nice my face looked! He said I glowed and looked really happy! :-D
This mousse blush gives me the perfect rosy, flushed glow to my cheeks that make me look healthy, happy and bright. And I'm surprised at how easy it is to achieve these results - even without a brush or make-up sponge! I just use my fingers to apply and it gives me a very natural look.
And another thing I'm happy about, it that Maybelline don't test on animals! Yay!
Overall, this is my make-up bag staple for just so many reasons - and it's just so affordable; considering the amount of blush you'll use each time! I highly recommend this Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush and it'll give you a rosy, flushed glow, yet still look natural.
