I feel like the other people who reviewed this foundation were talking about another product. My skin is combination with a tendency towards flaking on my cheeks and chin, so anything that increases that tendency is not my first choice.

I've been needing to buy a new foundation for a while. Before buying anything, I came here to see what people were saying about the foundations that were available to me in Canada. This one (Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Foundation) was the only one I had come across that had 100% positive reviews, even though it was only from four people. These were the notes that I made which seemed good:
- leaves skin looking youthful
- SPF 18
- not greasy and doesnt clog pores
- washes off easy
In spite of that, when I bought it today and then put it on when I got home (note to self: test it on your face in the store next time, not just the back of the hand), the fine lines around my 41-year-old eyes became creases right away. Not the look I'm going for. Those patches of flakiness on my cheeks I mentioned? Even more noticeable. The candlelit quality that one person mentioned was more paste-like on my face. Another person mentions that it made her face more radiant without any sparkles. Sadly, mine didn't look radiant, but there were the odd spots of sparkles like you'd get from glitter.
