Pros: No clumps, lengthens lashes.
Cons: Not good for people with shaky hands. Doesn't come off skin easily.
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't have bought it if I new it wasn't a brush type applicator.

Let me first say that I have not worn makeup on a regular basis since high school... when I was "goth". Recently, I broke my left foot, and decided that I looked like utter crap with the big, black boot/cast on, and that I needed to wear makeup to make myself look better. The only problem is that my makeup is who knows how many years old.
Why did I buy this product?
I bought it because my old mascara was getting clumpy and junky, and I didn't know how old it was, but it sure did look old. So, off to Target I went, with hardly any money, and a mission in mind. The reason that I bought Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara honestly was because of it's price. It was cheaper than most of the other mascaras. I was shocked by some of the prices. Eight or ten dollars for a single tube of mascara? No way! Then, discouraged, and on my way out of the venue I found Maybelline's Lash Stylist Mascara for about five dollars. Cool! That's a price I could swing!
What do I love about this product?
I love the fact that it does not clump on my eyelashes. It has a sort of "eyelash comb" instead of the traditional all-around brush that other mascaras have. It takes a bit of talent and concentration to use, but it does the trick nicely and also makes my lashes nice and long. Color from root to tip and nice length on the lash. They don't feel stiff either, which is nice.
What do I hate?
Hate is a word that I don't use. I would rather say that I don't like the fact that there is only a "eyelash comb" than the typical round brush. I really wasn't paying attention to that aspect when I purchased it. It takes some hand-eye coordination and I'm a little shaky-handed. I tend to get some on my skin around my eye accidentally, and it is hard to get off. Really hard to get off.
So this is my review of Maybelline Lash Stylist Mascara. I hope you enjoyed reading it! It was a pleasure to write. I'm thinking that since I have so much makeup that is too old to use, I may ask for a makeup kit for Christmas! What do you think!
