If you're like me you, at some point have oily skin. The last thing we want is to have oily makeup to intensify the fact. It's especially hard when you have combination skin, and have dry skin, but an oily T-Zone.
Coming across Maybelline Pure. makeup was absolutely wonderful!
The Look
It's a nice attractive packaging/bottle. A light blue bottle with silver cap. On the front it says shine-free foundaion with H20 - oil free. On the back it says that it is 50% water, won't clog pores, flawless finish. 1 fl. oz.
This in itself is hard to believe.
My experience
I was pleasantly surprised on how well Maybelline delivered their promise. The makeup goes on easily and smooth. It doesn't smear unevenly or leave a greasy streak. It goes on liquids and ends in a smooth powder form. I, myself have extremely sensitive skin and it's been hard to find makeup that doesn't cause my skin to break out. I have not ended up having any allergic reaction to Maybelline. :)
Final Review
It's a decently priced product that works extremely well. It's true that your face may be showing a little bit of oil after a few hours, but an easy, quick fix for that is to simply use a light shine free powder over your foundation.
