Pros: Fresh and natural looking, easy on skin, lightweight, no heavy scent,non-greasy and non-drying, fair price
Cons: Light/moderate coverage, not waterproof, no SPF protection, fast drying, not long lasting
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this product for those that like light to moderate coverage since that is what it gives.

Introduction:
Maybeline Pure Makeup is my makeup of choice and I would recommend it. I have already bought it for the second time (for me that means I've used it for 6 months and plan to continue using it). It is a fairly priced, easy on the skin type of product. I had heard the commercials for this product, and after being recommended Pure Makeup by Maybeline's "make-up suggestions" I thought I'd give it a try. In the past I had used foundations that made my skin feel and look like I was wearing a mask. I wanted something that would leave my skin looking natural, glowing and youthful (Maybeline Pure Makeup provides me with all of those traits).
My Experiences Past (Purchasing), Present (Using) and future (Purchasing Again):
I went to my local Walmart to purchase Pure Makeup. Upon going to Walmart, I was delighted to find that there were so many shades and that they were easy to identify (as I have fair skin and getting makeup that is too dark is a problem for me). I tested the foundation out at home and loved how easy it was to use, how natural it looked and how little I needed to use. It can be used without any other products or with other products (which I personally love). Even without other products, Pure Makeup will make a difference on your face by making the skin tone even, reducing redness, reducing the appearance of blemishes, and brighten up dull skin (as I have seen for myself when I wear the foundation). Do not let the small size of the tube fool you! I still have my original tube of foundation that I purchased 6 months ago, and only now is it almost done (I wear makeup daily, but not always foundation). Compared to other foundations, Pure Makeup doesn't make me break out, get dry skin or cause irritation. Although it might be more expensive than some foundations, it is by no means the most expensive, and from my experience it is a lot better looking on my skin than the cheaper foundation that Maybeline and other companies with basic pricing have to offer. It glides on fairly smoothly, and looks fresh. The only major downside I found is that it doesn't always cover as well as I want; however, that is why I use concealers for the more problematic areas. Also, as with many cosmetic products, it will rub off and needs to be touched up after a few hours. However, I found, that applying a powder product over my foundation makes it last longer (and remain "fresh looking" for longer). Pure Makeup doesn't have a strong scent, and so this is another thing I love about it. There is nothing I hate more than putting makeup on my face and ending up smelling like I just walked through a room of baby powder! I also love the fact that Pure Makeup never looks greasy on my face.
My Experience With Application of the Product:
Pure Makeup is able to blend into my face, as long as I have applied my moisturizer before hand. If you tend to have a very dry face, Pure Makeup may not blend very well, as it may dry on your face before the product has been blended. I found that you have to work fairly fast, or else the makeup will begin to dry and not be blend in. I loved the fact that if you use small amounts of the foundation, it is easy to work with. I simply apply it with my fingers; however, I'm told you can use a wedge sponge and it will work well too.
