Quick, convenient and lasting coverage

The Bottom Line: Great solution for those who do not have time to fuss, natural looking, convenient, gentle, but probably not the best coverage for those with deep wrinkles or creases.

Performance
This product applies like a powder, going on and blending much more quickly than liquid foundation, and with no mess. It combines the covereage of foundation and the finish of powder in one step. I wears well all day in normal conditions, with little to no touch up necessary.
Appearance
PureStay blends with skin easily, and provides great coverage of redness or flaws. It it matte, so it does tend to show up laugh lines, though not as badly as most liquid foundations. I've been very pleased with the even, natural appearance that is provides; it doesn't shout "makeup" like some foundations.
Value
I have found Purestay at various price points between $7 and $8.50, a reasonable cost for a two in one cosmetic, especially when compared to makeup counter brands. I wear makeup 5 days weekly, and find that one of the compacts will last me approximately four weeks. Considering the one product takes the place of both foundation and powder, I feel it is a very good value.
Safety
I have very sensitive skin, products that are scented, clogging, or harsh can cause outbreaks of excema. PureStay is unscented, and has a much lighter smell than liquid foundation, consisting of only a very light "powder" smell, and it does not clog my pores or irriatate my skin. It has an SPF factor of 15 to protect your face from daily sun damage.
The Good
Gentle, convenient, and quick, with good coverage and a natural appearance. Inexpensive and compact to carry.
The Bad
Matte finish may not be suitable for those with a lot of laugh lines or creases.
The Conclusion
Maybelline PureStay Powder and Foundation is a quick and convenient alternative to liquid foundation that performs well. I don't have time to fuss with makeup in the morning, or refresh it frequently during the day, and this product has turned out to be a fantastic solution that is easy on the skin and the wallet.
