I am a very active woman. I am busy doing everything from being mommy to church to working out at the gym and riding bulls (only for fun). I surely can't be falling off a bull and have mascara smeared on my face. It's not very attractive falling off in the first place, so I have to look as good as I can in all those awkward positions I seem to end up in.
I never have a problem at church either. When the Lord touches my heart which happens quite often. I turn into lil miss booby bum and the tears start rolling. I never have to run to the bathroom after church to clean up.
Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara has been in my makeup bag for the most part of 20 years. The other times were me trying other types of mascaras and I seemed to be disappointed each time. So I would go back to good old trustworthy Maybelline Great Lash Waterproof Mascara.
Clumping seems to never be a problem with this unless your doing it wrong. So here are a few things I do to prevent that dreaded clumping with the waterproof:
1. I put on the first coat top and bottom, go get Avery some cereal and by that time it's dry then it's time to put on the second coat.
2. Never pump the wand up and down inside the bottle because it dries it up. When it starts to dry up it starts to clump, then you have problems.
3. Replace the bottle about every 3-4 months. This is something that most of my friends don't do. They use the same bottle of mascara for 6-8 months or more then complain about it being dry and clumping. Besides think about the many germs that get into that bottle throughout that time. All that is coming in contact one of the more sensitive parts of you body, YOUR EYES.
I have had friends ask me how do you get the waterproof stuff off. Well I use good old baby oil on a cotton swab. It comes off completely clean for me, no yanking out the eye lashes. Then I wash my face with a mild soap to rinse off the oily residue. And of course you could use the mascara remover that the product recommends Maybelline Mascara Remover.
All I can say is I have been very pleased with this product. It has stood up to the test of time, sweat, and tears.
