I have very straight eyelashes. I have always used an eyelash curler & maybelline great lash waterproof mascara. My mom gave me this wondercurl waterproof mascara. I had heard of it, but never believed a mascara could curl my lashes on its own. Well, I was right. It doesn't curl my lashes, HOWEVER it does seem to lengthen them. I use it with the eyelash curler. I curl my lashes, then use this mascara. No worry of overcurling because it doesn't work.

(There is an 'illegal lengths' mascara designed to lengthen the lashes...Who knows, maybe that would CURL them.)

I really like the wand that comes in it. The brush is a little longer than average, and the bristles are shaped a little different. This is supposed to play a role in curling the lashes. Even though it doesn't curl, I like the way my lashes look after I use it. It's easy to apply, and it doesn't clump or leave black specks everywhere.

The package says to remove with soap and water. I have never had any luck removing waterproof mascara with soap and water. I have always used baby oil to take off my waterproof mascara. Wondercurl was no exception. Just a little bit of baby oil does the trick.

Wondercurl is close to the same price as Great Lash, but the wondercurl container holds .15 fl oz. Great Lash comes in .43 fl oz. Wondercurl doesn't last longer, so I don't see any real benefit in buying it.
