I had a ge profile performance model (2002) and it
ran quieter and had cycle times that I could set from
25 - 50 minutes. This unit shortest cyle time is 81 minutes unless you do a quick rinse which is 9 minutes.
Auto-clean does not really shorten the cycle. Light
wash seems adequate for most cleaning situations. With
light wash, sanitize, heated dry, it runs for 95 minutes.
It does a good job using the minimum amount of water
The reason I bought this dishwasher was to get into a tall
tub and no center ring on the bottom rack(wasted so much space). I can fit a whole lot more in this unit than my ge.
*NOTE* The all-in-one tabs with jet dry leave residue on my glasses and silverware. I switched to just a gel dishwashing detergent with rinse-aid and it cleans beautifully now.
Overall I am moderately satisfied.
