| nakedbear's Full Review: Maytag MDB7600A Jetclean® II 24 in. Built-in ... |
Well our old Whirlpool racks were starting to rust at the joints so it was time to replace it. I ordered another Whirlpool at Lowes based on reviews from Consumer Reports. When I went to go pick it up I got a look at one and changed my mind! Whirlpool still puts their flatware on the door and I always hated that. I also thought that it was cheaply made, so it was back to the drawing board. I went to an appliance store and bought at the MDB7600A. What a difference! It seemed so sturdy compared to the Whirlpool, and I love how the top shelf is slanted. So many ways to load it up. I love the fact that I can load my dinner plates on the top and bottom, and the flatware basket can be placed many places! The unit unbelievably quiet as compared to my old Whirlpool and there is so much room! Dishes sparkle on just the normal setting, but many cycles are available, as well as auto clean which takes the guess work out off which cycle to pick! If you can't get a good price at an appliance store, check out Home Depot as they have their own Maytag version of this model for around $450.00. If you have an older dishwasher-get rid of it today and get the Maytag MDB7600A. You won't believe the room!
