Not worth it at all...

Pros: Its very pretty, and very quiet
Cons: Doesn't wash dishes at all. Its a dish dirtier, not a dish washer.
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it, you'll regret it if you do. It just does not work, we've tried two of the same model so far.

I got a wonderful Christmas gift early this year, all new kitchen appliances. A great Maytag side by side fridge, a lovely Maytag range... and a lemon for a dishwasher.
The dishwasher was installed two weeks after I paid for it, by a contractor for Sears who also installed a new water line because my old one "Wouldn't reach". OK, fine, we paid for the new line.
The first load of dishes I washed ended up dirtier than when I had put them in. I was shocked, and thought "Oh, it must be residue or something from the installation" and ran it again, same dishes. The dishes came out the same way the second time.
So, my husband and I sat down with the manual and checked to be sure everything is as they say it must be. We even loaded the dishwasher according to their directions, exactly.
Third times a charm right? Wrong. The dishes did not get any cleaner, and if anything, they were again dirtier.
Frustrated we called Sears and told them the dishwasher was broken, it wasn't cleaning anything... send a new one. We washed our dishes by hand for over a week waiting for the new one to arrive, because there was no point at all in putting them in the expensive new dishwasher we had.
So, in comes the new dishwasher, in go the dishes... and out comes filth. The dishes are again dirtier than they were when we loaded them. I have witnesses to it. I have photos of the dishes.
We are now waiting on Sears to do something about this. Meantime, we are washing dishes by hand again... because we enjoy spending 500 dollars on things that don't work. Really.
