Pros: Has a delay cycle and the silverware rack can be separated into 2 and repositioned.
Cons: Top rack breaks continually, redeposits food, discolors aluminum and copper.
The Bottom Line: Disappointing purchase. The dishwasher is cheaply built. The top rack continually breaks, and food is redeposited.

| fargojen's Full Review: Maytag MDB7600A Jetclean® II 24 in. Built-in ... |
We bought this dishwasher about a year ago, and chose Maytag because our old dishwasher was a Maytag and it was a gem, and Consumer Reports recommended it highly.
This dishwasher discolors aluminum items and copper bottom pots. It redeposits food on any glass placed in the back corner. It does not dry the dishes unless you use jet dry. You have to rinse all red sauces off of items or else the whole plastic interior turns pink. But, the main problem with the dishwasher is the a little piece that holds the top rack to the roller continually breaks. The first time one of these broke, the store we bought the dishwasher at gave us a replacement part from another dishwasher on the floor. The next time one broke they replaced the whole top rack of the dishwasher. The 3rd time one broke we salvaged a still unbroken piece from the old rack. Today I wrote Maytag and asked them to send me 20 of these pieces to get me by a few years.
I would never buy a Maytag dishwasher again. However, I love my Maytag front loading washing machine so I can't say that all Maytag appliances are bad.
