Pros: Seems to clean pretty well. Very configurable rack options.
Cons: Rack wheels are weak. Hard food gets stuck in the grinder, making a horrible noise.
The Bottom Line: No thanks.

| farmboy66's Full Review: Maytag MDB7600A Jetclean® II 24 in. Built-in ... |
I've noticed that many companies seem to change their model numbers often and unnecessarily, as if just to stay clear of bad reviews. Sound familiar? Therefore, I'd like to claim this review applies to pretty much all similar washers. However, specifically this review applies to The Maytag Quiet Series 300, MDB7600 model.
Can't believe we "splurged" for a big brand name, reliable Maytag... and yet the service guy has been out about six times. First it was a bad leak, an issue with the pump and disposal wheel. Then wheels on the top rack. Man-o-man, these wheels only last about three months each. And last I checked the wheel hub isn't available on its own -- you need a whole new rack -- what a waste we have four top racks for this washer now, just to get the wheels!
I've finally broken down and made some new wheel hubs. Mine are stainless steel, with stainless steel screws and lock washers. Indestructible, check them out. http://www.fifengr.com/maytag/
We also had the door latch break out, luckily I was able to buy that part online. I noticed that the new part is more sturdy than the original -- it has a metal pin. Who in the design department originally thought it would be reliable to make a little plastic pin that held such a very often used part like a door latch? Some intern? Someone who's salary is offset by the final cost of their designs?
