What a Mistake! A real Lemon!!

Pros: Pretty stainless front and buttons
Cons: Just after 1 year the 4 spray arm assembly broke and fell out!
The Bottom Line: Don't buy it! It looks nice at the store but not up to Maytag standards. It is poor quality and poor design.

We saw one at Home Depot just over a year ago looked at it superficially and bought one based on Maytag's reputation. The fantastic specs including the ability to wash a 10 place setting at once, simply stated, are inaccurate. Anything placed near the four corners of the racks gets residue from the rest of the wash left on or in it.
Tumbler glasses (slightly tall) will not fit on the top rack. Anything beyond a glass cutting board or a cookie sheet will not fit on the bottom rack without raising the middle rack. With the middle rack in the lower position 5 or 6 dinner plates fit in front of the silverware basket on the left. I have to put the tall glasses behind the silverware basket since they will tip over if placed on the right side of the rack.
Due to the placement of the tines on the right side of the middle rack I really don't know what is supposed to go there. Bowls and small plates slip sideways at an angle and don't really come clean.
Before the whole spray assembly fell out (just after a year's use) we really had to be careful on the top rack to load plates way in the back or all the way in front so not to hit the spray arm. Between the front and back plates we could place cerial bowls. We almost never washed what in a "normal" dishwasher would be a full load due to the bizzare rack arrangement of this Maytag.
We find the wash cycle quite long for the less than perfect end result and with high water consumption. The unit is louder then comparable "premium" dishwashers.
Summary - I can't recommend.
