dishwasherdude's Full Review: Maytag MDB5601A 24 in. Portable Dishwasher
We have had nothing but problems with our Maytag model #MDB5601aww.
The diswasher was making electrical sounds and problems with the motor.
Also the dishwasher cavitates and the washer does not spray any water at times, just steams the dishes.
I bought the extended warranty and have had the motor, electrical panel, and other parts replaced, nothing works.
We are luckey sometimes if the dishwasher works at all! Our tec guy has no idea how to fix this unit, he put a request in for a new dishwasher, so far Maytag has not responded and I don't exspect any response from this company and I feel they have so many complaints that they would go bankrupt if they fixed or replaced all there units.
This one is going in the dump and will be buying G.E.
Please, whatever you do don't buy Maytag, they were an excellent company 20 years ago, but now it is a different story. As a owner of a Maytag dishwasher I am going through all the problems, don't make the same mistake.
