grannygrump's Full Review: Meade DS-2114AT (325 x 114mm) Telescope
I was in need of a new printer and chose this one because of the multiple functions and the name. This was a Christmas gift to myself.
It prints, it scans and it makes copies and it seems to perform all three of these functions quite well. I consider it just a bit on the slow side and I think it is quite noisy. That does not pose a problem for me, since it prints clearly, it has good accurate color and it has not let me down. My last printer was quite old (also a Hewlet Packard). It was getting finicky and would only print when it wanted to.
So far, I have used this printer for several things. I have used it to print out quite a few pictures. I used it when I created birthday cards (which required printing on both the front and the back of a single page). I have used it for printing out letters which I have written. I have used it for scanning a few documents and pictures. I have used it to make iron on transfers for my daughter in laws little brothers.
It was easy to set up. I felt the instructions were very clear and not too complicated. It was very easy to install the ink cartridges and paper. It has not jammed up at all, the paper feeds well.
