My son, Brayden, received a bucket of Mega Bloks for his first birthday. I never imagined that they would be such a hit! Not many toys can keep his attention for very long. Most toys get thrown into the toy box, never to be heard from again. Six months later, and he's STILL playing with the Mega Bloks!!

Brayden was instantly drawn the bright colors, and different sized blocks. Like most toddlers, he likes putting EVERYTHING in his mouth. These blocks are large enough that I do not have to worry about him accidently swallowing or choking on one.

Not only are these blocks large and colorful, they help to develop coordination. The bucket comes filled with 120 lightweight blocks. They're durable, and easy for little hands to grasp and stack. There's plenty of them, so they keep his attention longer than other toys.

The bucket is also lightweight, and easy to store. Brayden loves to help me throw the blocks in the bucket when he's through playing. Of course, I still find them between cushions, under the couch, under the table, and various other places. I guess that's to be expected.

Brayden received his as a gift, but at $20 I would highly recommend Mega Bloks!!
