In German, this would be called Mr. Beer. In Germany, they would run anyone out of the country if they tried to serve this to them. Meister Brau by all standards of brewing, is cheap beer. Flat out. Its cheap to make and cheap to buy, making it a college popular beer in someplaces. However, even in the state college I went to, there were'nt many takers on this hops and barley formula, for fear they would be laughed at.
To clear up the issue on Meister Brau. I guess it IS worth the money that you pay for it. This is considering that it cost a little more than a six pack of soda. But if you are going for taste and quality, you might as well get yourself a Budweiser or even a Keystone. That way you can save yourself an explanation when you walk into that party where no one knows you.
To answer the food question, I guess I would say that a lot of tobassco is in order to burn out the flavor of the beer in your mouth. Or you can eat 2 or three hamburgers after you've consumed a 12 pack for 5 bucks. That should make you happy about something.
By the way my rating is drinkable because pretty much everything is drinkable if want to drink bad enough. Cisco on the other hand.......
