Pros: Fast acting quick relief
Cons: a little greasy but works
The Bottom Line: I will continue to use Mentholatum Deep Heating Rub for all my muscle injuries because it's quick acting and relieves pain great.

I began using Mentholatum Deep Heating Pain Rub when I twisted my ankle. A friend recommended it to me saying it would relieve the pain instantly. It Did!! I used the Rub from the start of my injury and the pain was tolerable. The rub is a little greasy but eventually dries. I've used other brands of deep heating pain rub and none of them have worked as well as the Mentholatum.
Mentholatum Rub also doesn't burn your skin when covered with either a sock or elastic bandage as other brands have done in the past. I used one brand of rub that turned my skin red when covered with a bandage.
I would recommend this product to anyone experiencing pain such as arthritis, torn muscles,twisted ankles etc. Of course if the pain is really bad please consult a doctor.
