Great Buy and An Awesome Battery Charger

Pros: Saves on the environment. No more battery recycling. I can use it in the car.
Cons: No Cons. I really like it. A Great buy!
The Bottom Line: This charger allows continued use of my digital camera without harming the environment. A must for battery powered digital cameras. Take it on the road with you too!

The Targus Digital AA/AAA Rapid Charger was a great buy. The reason I bought it was because my digital camera takes two AA batteries. Since I take allot of pictures, I was going through batteries like mad.
I am rather environmentally aware so a battery charger was a must.
I found this great charger at Walmart for $20 Cnd.
It comes with four AA batteries and four AAA batteries, all eight Nickel Metal Hydride. It simply plugs into the wall outlet. The red light means it is charging. When the light goes green they are done. The handiest thing about this charger is that you can leave it plugged in even after the batteries are charges, until you need to use the batteries, so they don't loose the charge and won't damage the batteries.
Even though there are four battery compartments in the charger, the user can charge two batteries at a time if they want.
The battery charger has a Universal input voltage too. AC100-AC240v. Charging current: 450mA(max).
The package included an adapter so I can charge in the lighter input in the car for when I am on the road snapping the mounds of pictures that I do. How handy!!
The batteries take next to no time to charge and the AAA's I can use for my remote controls.
I am glad I bought this charger. It works great and have had no problems with it whatsoever.
