I'm in the pool business and open/close around 50 pools every year. This cover is usually custom made to fit your pool if you don't have a standard size(example: 18x36 with steps on one end). It's a solid cover that once put on, resembles a trampoline. You have anchors placed in the deck around the pool every couple feet. Inside the anchor is a bolt that when screwed down is flush with the deck. To put on the cover, you unscrew the bolts so they stick up about 3/4" and snap the springs that are attached to the cover to them with a tool that comes with the cover. I like this cover because you don't have any waterbags to fill in the fall and clean in the spring. It's easy to put on if you have 2-3 people although it can get harder if you don't have much deck area to work on. Once it's on its tight like a trampoline which makes it easy to get the leaves off. You just push them off with a pool brush instead of having to dip them out with a net. If you have little kids then it's also a safety cover which can hold 200lbs.
