Anolon Pro is a keeper: love those glass lids!

The "Cook 'N Look" glass lids featured with Anolon Professional cookware make this brand the best nonstick cookware I've even used! I love to cook and I've had a variety of different nonstick pieces before, but this is the first time that I have liked one brand so much better than others that I am considering the purchase of a complete set to use as my personal standard.
The "Cook 'N Look" lids let you monitor foods as they cook, without continually removing the lid and losing heat and moisture. They have a snug fit which creates a self-basting environment that locks in moisture and healthful nutrients. The lids are made of tempered glass and are guaranteed for life against breakage. I've dropped lids several times, never had a problem, and now believe that they really won't ever break!
The handles on Anolon Professional cookware are also great. They are stainless steel but they really stay cool on the stovetop. They are also oven-proof up to 500 degrees so you can easily brown things on the stove top and then pop them into the oven.
I really love this cookware. It has a nice heavy duty weight (made of hard-anodized aluminum). I can testify to the fact that it heats quickly and evenly, distributing the heat incredibly well. Food doesn't stick to it and I find the clean up to be very easy.
Anolon Professional comes in sets, which seems to be a great way to get them 30-40% below the cost of open stock pieces. Since I already have several pieces of cookware that I want to continue to use (at least for a while longer!), I prefer to buy individual pieces and I look for sales before making a purchase. Anolon Professional makes skillets, saute pans, saucepans, stockpots, woks, stir-fry skillets, grills and griddles and specialty pieces such as a fabulous 12" covered paella pan and steamers.
