Pros:LOTS OF GAMING VARIETY
Cons:BELL HOPS WITH ATTITUDES
The Bottom Line: ITS ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE NOW-ADAYS, OF WHICH, YOU (MGM) ARE LACKING
This was my third and final trip to the grand. My problem stems from the bell service: I traveled with 1 gym(sized) bag for the short weekend. I had to precheck my bag with bell service because of my early arrival. I tipped the initial guy a 5, when my single bag was brought to my room another 5, on check-out (11:00) is to early for those flying in the afternoon, I had to check luggage with bell service, I hand delivered to his cart, he went on to tell me that he would be personally taking care of my single bag, at the time I had no small bills so I didn't tip, when I later went to retrieve, it could not be found, the arrogant bellhop, switched his identifying tag with mine, after a half hour of looking, they invited me to find my own bag, I did tip upon recieving, thats the way it should work. I barely got to the airport because of the fiascal, I had 10 minutes to spare, I am not cheap by any means, I tipped approx. 20.00 for a bag that never needed carrying by anyone, it was small and contained about 15lbs. of goods. The guys got it wrong, "IN TIMES LIKE THESE, IT'S ALL ABOUT SERVICE", I enjoyed most facets of the visit, great maid service, who I tipped daily, they worked very hard and they deserved it. As for the 6'3" blonde bell hop, get a life. Everyone has a choice, you (MGM) are no longer mine. I have been trying to e-mail MGM about their service, they have no customer service e-mail available. Think hard about you next visit here, and remember to tip the wheasels or you'll experience baggage horror.
