| sgmaxwell's Full Review: Michelin Cross Terrain SUV Truck/SUV Tire |
I replaced my original tires (Goodrich Wranglers) for my 1996 Isuzu Rodeo 4x4 with the Michelin Cross Terrains sized 225/75/r16 after 63,000 miles. What an amazing difference!!!! The traction in snow and icy roads was far superior to the ones I used to own. The noise has been greatly reduced, and the ride is firm and confident. No longer sloppy and spongy as I was used to by the Goodrich tires. I paid $149 each, which included stems, mounting, balance, and road hazard, from a national 'Discount Tire' chain here in Colorado Springs. I used to think tires were just tires, until I bought my first set of Michelins. They were about $22 more (each) than a quote for replacement tires from other well know brands, money well spent now that I have driven on the new Michelins, now for more than a month. I have been instantly sold on these tires, and highly recommend them to anyone who owns an SUV. I used to think Michelins were expensive and over-rated, until I bought my Cross Terrains. They are well worth the investment, and I cannot recommend them enough!!!
