Pros: Handling, Low noise, ride quality, ride quality and ride quality!
Cons: Quality is not inexpensive.
The Bottom Line: You get what you pay for. If you spend less, expect less. I highly recommend these tires to anyone looking for an extremely smooth ride.

| a2mills's Full Review: Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 Passenger/Performance Tire |
These tires are all about ride quality. There are tires that "perform" better and cost less but you will sacrifice something. That something is ride quality. If you are looking for a tire that will drive as smooth as your car should ride then spend the $$.
I feel that these tires are the balance between ride quality and performance. I purchased a set of Perelli P7's which are considered a "performance" tire and they did perform well but the ride quality on the interstate was un-exceptable. I went back several times to the tire service center trying to get the ride smoothed out and finally excepted that they were as good as they were going to get. The representative recommended the MXM4's based on my expectations but there was that 1K price tag. After a few months on the Perelli's, I could not take it any more. I removed the P7's and invested the MXM4's and could not be happier.
If you purchase a different tire looking for higher "performance" or something less expensive, then do not expect them to ride as smooth as the Michelin MXM4's. If you are driving a 30K+ vehicle please do not put a $400 set of tires on it. You bought that car for a reason and I am sure ride quality was one of them.
