My Bratz, what lovely colored boots you have!

The Bottom Line: While I could never wear these boots and would prefer another choice in color, this is a fun clothing addition for any Bratz doll.

Believe it or not, my seven-year-old daughter did not own a Bratz doll prior to Christmas. In fact, it wasn’t until the Holiday season approached that my daughter first mentioned that she would like a Bratz doll. Wait; let me rephrase that … she would like to have two Bratz dolls. Hey! Everyone needs a friend, right?
So come Christmas morning she was very pleased to receive her own very first Bratz doll and a few fashion packs. But where was the other Bratz doll? Had Santa failed her? No, it was just that her Aunt Sharon had a special present waiting for her at her place!
Let’s just say that my daughter was thrilled when she opened up her presents from her Aunt. Not only did she get her other Bratz doll (How did Santa know?) she also got the Micro Games Bratz Fashion Pack Dynamite Dance. She was thrilled! She immediately wanted her new Bratz doll and new dance outfit out of their boxes so that they could rock and roll!
~ Don’t you just love the boxes? ~
Is it just me, or is it getting harder and harder to get toys out of their boxes these days? Just like a Barbie product, it will take a few minutes to open the box and then untwist and peel off the tape so that you can retrieve the contents of the box for your child to play with.
While emptying the contents of many of these Micro Games Bratz Fashion Packs I noticed that there was a little saying on the back of each back in regards to their particular fashion pack. For the Micro Games Bratz Fashion Pack Dynamite Dance it says, “Tonight is “Bratz’ Night Out” and it’s going to be dynamite! There’s nothing like a decorated Bratz girl strutting her stuff on the dancefloor, flaunting the cutting edge style that sets her apart from the rest!” Well … okay, whatever! Not sure that I am big on their choice of wording in regards to the Bratz doll strutting her stuff or her flaunting her style but my daughter did not seemed phased or impressed with it when she read it. So, I just let it drop.
~ So, what is she wearing on the dance floor tonight? ~
If you have never heard of or seen a Bratz doll before then you should know that she is somewhat similar to Barbie. I did say somewhat! Besides her big head and big lips you will notice that Bratz likes to wear her shoes with quite a heel on them. Apparently when she is dancing this also stands true. Now, I can tell you that I could not only wear the boots that this Bratz doll is going to wear to dance but I most likely could never walk in them as well. While the heel itself on this boot is a tad over ¾ inches in height (but not quite an inch) in height, I can only imagine what that would be in a real human height. Yikes!
So what all is included with the Micro Games Bratz Fashion Pack Dynamite Dance?
~ halter top ~ This small halter top (It only measures in at an inch and a half from top to bottom!) is made out of a hot pink material that is very sparkly. This halter-top is one of the easiest tops that I have found for my daughter to dress/undress her Bratz’s dolls. That is because she has no armholes in shirts to contend with! There is a Velcro closure at the top (around the neck) and then one around the bottom (her waist).
~ purse ~ According to the back of the packing for this fashion pack they refer to this as a Bratzpack. It looks like a purse to me so that is how I will be referring to it! Made out of the very same material as the halter-top, this purse is the smallest piece to this fashion pack. It measures in at nearly an inch at the very bottom. It then angles inward towards the top of the purse where it is almost half an inch in width. The handle of this purse is pretty darn cute as it is made out of hot pink beads. Yes, a hit with my daughter! The purse does open a small bit but do not expect to place much inside.
~ pants ~ These crushed velvet pants will definitely make a statement on the dance floor for their color. (Or, should that be cutting edge style!) They are pea green in color and have an edging on the bottom that has not only purple ribbing, but also small boxes with a design offering up the colors of white, pink and green. Very unique I will give you that! Word of caution … these pants were extremely tough to get on the Bratz doll the first few times. They seem to have loosened up a bit over use.
~ boots ~ While I mentioned the ridiculous height of these boots up above I forgot to mention their lovely color. Green. But not just green green, but a lime like green. Like all Bratz shoes, these boots are easy to place on/off your Bratz because your doll actually has peg legs.
~ While I wouldn’t be caught wearing this outfit … ~
Yes, it is a guarantee that I would never be caught wearing an outfit like this, or the boots; it does somehow seem to fit the personality of these Bratz dolls.
The Micro Games Bratz Fashion Pack Dynamite Dance does offer up a very creative outfit for any Bratz doll to wear and I can tell you that it is one of my daughter’s favorite outfits to change them into. (Mind you, my husband has already informed me that this is not how he would like to see our daughter dressed some day!) As with her Barbie’s, my daughter enjoys having that change of clothes for her dolls and this fashion pack is not any different!
While I did not make this purchase, I do happen to know that my sister found it on sale for $5.00 before the Holidays, so it does pay to look through those sales ads. I have seen them priced $7.99. I don’t know about you, but I’m always looking for a bargain!
