The graphics in this game are superior to any other rpg game of it's type. The spell effects, the immerse scenery and the details on the characters themselves are outstanding. Every weapon armour or any other upgrade you do, you can see it on your character.
One thing about this game that is quite different than most rpg games is that you can have a party of up to 8 characters. You can aslo end up with a pack mule which is very useful for carrying all the stuff you pick up.
I think that they really could not of done a better job in the gameplay of this game. One thing that is very different than most rpg games is that throughout the game you can decide what your characters will be depending on how you play with them. The more you use a bow he will be an archer, more sword he will become a warrior or if you use spells he can become a mage. You can also have an all around character but it is best to stick to one of the other considering you will get other characters along the way. Gaining levels is a great idea too. Again if your using a bow your ranged level will go up sword your melee fighting will go up and spells your magic will go up.
The game is a very long game too. it took about 30 hours for me too beat it but it is worth playing over again. I would really like to see how it would be if i used my main character as a mage or a warrior instead of an archer.
Multiplayer:
this game has a very promising multiplayer mode as well. you can import your character from single player and play on the net with fellow dungeon siege gamers. If the single player game doesn't last you the multiplayer sure will.
ONe thing about this game is that you need a very good computer to run it. i have athlon 1400 mhz with a ati radeon 8500 and at times it slows down a lot especially if the graphics are turned up.
Overall this game is the best rpg game i have played. i consider it 20 times better than diablo 2 and baldur's gate 2 from the graphics and the gameplay and how many characters you can have.
