Pros:No wire! Comfortable.
Cons:Annoying beeping noise, having to constantly charge.
The Bottom Line: Overall, this is not a bad device. It has no wire and is comfortable. But there are too many bugs for it to be perfect.
The Xbox 360 Wireless Microphone is not a bad option as an alternative to the original wired microphone. It is a small, oval-shaped mic that clips onto your ear. Unlike the original mic, the speaking piece does not extend all the way to your mouth, it just goes an inch or so. It is quite comfortable, and the sound quality is very high. On the side of the headset are two volume buttons and one power button.

When fully charged, the battery can last up to eight hours.
However, one of the biggest annoyances I have with the device is that it constantly makes a loud, annoying beeping noise randomly. Also, it is a bit difficult to connect the device to the Xbox, because sometimes it will not read it. It is little "bugs" like that that make this device slightly flawed.
There is an upside to it as well though. It is much more comfortable than the Wired mic, because you feel much less confined. With the wired mic, you must be careful or a slight turn of your head could rip the microphone out of the controller. With this microphone, that is not a worry, and it sits comfortably on your ear. Also, the hearing piece is padded.
Overall, this is a fairly good option for a primary microphone. The having to charge it all the time and annoying beeping can be annoying, but it is the only wireless option. If you want to go wireless, the sacrifices you will have to make to use this is truly not that bad. But if you are fine with your wired, this microphone is not worth it. So I will have to say recommended, simply because having no wire is so convenient.
