rodneycubed's Full Review: Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite (120 GB) Black Console
Its been a few months since my previous Xbox 360 died on me.
I had had it since the release but finally got the infamous "ring of death" Instead of purchasing a new one of the same model (360 Premium), I decided to wait for the Elite since its release date was right around the corner.
Overall its the same thing as its predecessor. The differences are:
-Larger hard drive (120GB compared to the 20GB of the premium)
-The console, controller, and headset are all black
-An HDMI Cable is included
Other that the differences listed above, its just like any other XBox 360. It has a great library of games to choose from. Some of my favorites are Rainbowsix Las Vegas, Gears of War, and Halo 2. It is also backwards compatible with most Xbox games. Furthermore, If you own an HDTV or Monitor (with vga cable) you are able to play your games in HD which looks very nice.
Unfortunately, It still suffers from the same problems as the Core and Premium console.
My recommendation is:
If you already own a 360, keep it, unless you "need" a larger hard drive.
If you are thinking about buying a 360 for the first time, get this one. I think its the best deal for people purchasing a new system.
