Cons: not the best radio, no outside acceseries, only comes in 128mb,hard to record
The Bottom Line: this a great deal, good player, and is very good for the beginning music lover. this is better than rio forge to me

I've been looking through many mp3s like the RCA Lyra, oregon scientific mp130, the creative muvo txfm, the an iriver, the rio forge sport, and this. I chose this player in the end because it was a new listing{knowing that what you buy is new makes you feel that it wont be outdated for a while), this was affordable, and it had a truckload of the latest features along with an expansion slot. I also think this looks better than my friends RCA lyra. This is a nice player,other than the fact of this things hoorible radio. This has a nice screen, comfortable size, and the joystick is easy to use. The expansion slot is an undeniably good feature because of this plyers standard 128mb. It takes decent recordings with the in line audio and its built in microphone. The radios another story, only recieving 1 station through its 88.0 to 108.0mhz capability in eastern WA. The display is outragously awsome because its made up of blue, black, and yellow. Unlike other budget mp3s, the displays text doesnt look pixeled and shows funny animations in on-off and link to computer procedures. The menu looks like a scaled down palm pilots display and it's easy to see the choices along with nifty pictures above the text. The sound is pretty good but recordings could sound better. Overall, this player is nice, good looking, and is one of the best out there. Did I mention the best part, I got this for just $50 after rebate from microteks online store. This rebate ends at 11/31/05
