Weak earing at maximum volume control Not recommended for ATV driving
I have purshased two Midlan AVP-H1 helmet headsets and two GXT900VP4 radios for communication between two ATV. The earsets that come with the Midlan GXT900VP4 radios are not very practical and does not hold well on the ear.
The volume level is to wheak on ear sets; even if the radio's volume control is at it's maximum. Midlan should correct this issue. Need a pre-amp or a modification of internal circuit on speaker output. It is very hard to understand the messages when driving the ATV; I have to stop on the side of the road, engine running idle, to ear my message. In my opinion, it this product is not worth buying until Midlan modifies their volume output level.
