tjbjr's Full Review: Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition for PlayStation 2
When I heard midnight three was coming out I thought wow ok like I care, because the previous midnight clubs had sucked. But then one day I was like what the hell, I rented it. Right when I started playing I knew Rockstar had done good this time. There was a wide selection of cars, and thousands of car customization parts, such as rims, bodykits, choptops, hydrolics, neon, tint, grills, and alot more. And I loved the sound tracks Rockstar had on this game, if you want rock, you got it. If you want rap you got it. Almost anything you got it. The only 3 things I found annoying was the driving aspects, the car wreckage, and the online feature. First, the driving in midnight club 3 was very vauge and unrealistic compared to Underground 2. For instance, when you made a sharp turn the vehicle would turn nicely, and all of a sudden peel out and loose control. And the Nos was obviously fake too. Secondly the car crashes could have more detail such as bumpers wobbling and hanging off, and the front hood possibly comming off. Lastly, the online feature got me realy ticked off. I heard you could do a bunch of stuff online with a broadband connection, and everytime I tried to connect the message screen would say " Your cables are loose or not connected, please try agian" and every single time I checked the cables and they were always connected. Other than that I would of to say this is a great game, and a huge improvement over the previous titles.
